（本會訊）5月9日下午，陸誠會長、周芳副會長和孫云龍財務長應加�
'7b大學河濱分校的邀請，訪問了該校園并參觀了學校教學科研等有關設施。常務副校長兼教務長Dr. Dallas Rabenstein 及管理學院院長Dr. Yunzeng Wang 等學校負責人熱情地接待了美中工商協會的來賓，賓主雙方進行了富有成效的交流。陸誠會長向該校師生詳細地介紹了美中工商協會的成長和發展史，他表示企業的發展愈來愈离不開科技教育的支撐，而科技和教育的發展也同樣面臨產業化的需要。因此盼望今后雙方在彼此領域加強合作、共謀發展， 共同探討新的產業創新的發展點，謀求多角度、跨行業的產學研合作机遇。Dr. Dallas Rabenstein 教務長和Dr. Yunzeng Wang 院長對此深表同感，并表示 Timothy White 校長非常重視与美中工商協會的企業家們建立良性互動，他會擇時再次邀請和接待美中工商協會理事會成員和會員到他官邸作客，希望大家多多利用學校的設施，參与課程講學或選擇課程進修。 最后，Dr. Dallas Rabenstein 教務長和Dr. Yunzeng Wang院長高興地接受了陸誠會長的邀請，參加5月20日由美中工商協會及南加州北大校友會聯合舉辦的“美中企學研高峰論壇”。

美中工商新一屆理事會拜會中國駐洛杉磯總領館 (12月14日)
[秘書處訊]談12月14日下午，美中工商協會理事會在陸誠會長帶領下，拜會了中華人民共和國駐洛杉磯總領館。邱紹芳總領事（大使銜）在他的官邸親切會見并接待了理事會的全體理事。 邱大使對大家的到來表示熱忱歡迎，并祝賀陸誠先生當選新一屆會長。邱大使充分肯定了美中工商協會在僑界所發揮的積極作用和為促進中美兩國經貿往來所做出的積極貢獻。他希望美中工商協會新一屆理事會在陸誠會長帶領下，再接再厲，加倍努力，做出更大的成績。
