曾在“天鵝湖” 、“唐吉柯德” 、“吉賽爾” 、“葛佩莉亞” 、
Li Zhang, the renowned ballet dancer, entered Shanghai
Ballet School at age eight. In 1979, after graduating
with a major in Classic Ballet, Ms. Zhang began her
career as a member of the Shanghai Ballet Group, and
became one of the leading ballet dancers, playing the
leading role in many world famous ballet prices such
as "Swan Lake", "Don Quixote", "The Nutcracker", "Giselle",
and more. Ms. Zhang has performed in France, Russia, new
Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong and Ccuba, and has received
many awards in domestic and international competitions.
In China, she has been awarded the prize of Premier Dancer.
In 1988, Mr. Zhang participated in the 7th International
Classic Ballet Competition in France and won the prize for
Best Ballet Dancer and the Golden Plate award for Ballet Duet.
In early 1991, Ms. Zhang came to the Untied States and studied
at the Ballet Institute of San Francisco. Later, she performed
for the Classic Ballet Group of Los Angeles in a leading role.
In 1993, Ms. Zhang and her husband Mr. Zhiquan Zhao (also a
ballet dancer) established Li's Dance Studio and thus began
their own career as ballet instructors. Li's Dance Studio has
grown rapidly during the past four years. Currently, they
studio has about 10 classes and over 120 students from age 6
to 16. During these past few years, students of Li's Dance
Studio have learned many techniques of ballet dance through
the inspired and efficient instruction of Ms. Zhang and her
husband. The studio holds several performances featuring
students at the end of each term of study.
Many students from Li's Dance Studio have participated in a
variety of major entertainment activities and dance competitions
in the Los Angeles area. They have obtained many awards, such as
two Silver Plates and one Bronze Plate in the United States
Youth Ballet Competition in July 1997. Students of Li's Dance
