American CEO Delegation Launches China Business Tour (Sept. 9, 2008) The Chinese CEO Organization, Asia Society, and Etech World Capital Forum (Chongqing 2008) will jointly organize the American CEO Delegation / China Business Tour / 2008 China Post-Olympic Economic Development Strategies and Business Opportunities' scheduled for October 31, November 8, 2008. The American CEO Delegation, consisting of American and overseas Chinese entrepreneurs, financial investors, and community leaders, will visit Beijing, Tianjin, Chongqing, and Shanghai. While in China, the delegation will hold meetings with the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council, Department of Commerce, Tianjin Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, Chongqing Municipal Government, Sichuan Provincial Government, Chengdu Municipal Government, and Shanghai Municipal Government. The delegation will also take part in the Chongqing International Capital Forum and visit the Bohai New Area & Tianjin Development Area. The purpose of the China Business Tour is to advance US-China economic communications, promote substantial economic cooperation, seek business opportunities for its members, expand and reinforce the connections and on-going exchanges between American businesses and Chinese government and enterprises, and understand the new focuses, new directions, and new strategies of the Chinese regional economy following the recently-concluded Beijing Olympic Games.
