As a singer from Beijing, she carries the message of friendship and best wishes from the people of Beijing to the people of America. She believes that music is beyond borders. She participated in numerous concerts hosted by central and local TV stations in China and in many diplomatic missions of the Culture Department of the Beijing Municipal Government for cultural exchange in many Asian and European countries. Madam Wu is a student of Professor Jin Tie-Lin, the best vocal teacher in China. Professor Jin¡¦s students include Madam Peng Li-Yuan, the current first lady of China. The Concert is co-produced by the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and Beijing Performance Art Group (BJPAG) for the purpose of cultural exchange.
