AIDP was incorporated in California since 1996. We have been serving our customers’ nutraceutical
ingredient need with trusted quality and services. In addition to our commodity business, we have a
branded ingredient department headed by Dr. Jennifer Gu, who is the VP of Research and Development
for AIDP. Since 2005 she has been responsible for new product development, clinical studies and
intellectual property development for AIDP. She has been actively involved in the discovery and
commercialization of branded ingredients including Magtein®, and PreticX®. Dr. Gu received her PhD
in Experimental Pathology at the University of California, Los Angeles and completed her post-doctoral
work at the California Institute of Technology in the Division of Biology. Dr. Gu published extensively in
peer-reviewed journals including “Nature” during her academic life. Dr. Gu holds multiple patents and is
a frequent speaker and contributor to nutritional journal articles.
