Victory ruling of Chinese battery companies in a section 337 by ITC (April 21, 2008) | Hogan & Hartson LLP has successfully defended a patent infringement suit filed against several Chinese battery manufacturers by Energizer Holdings, Inc. and its subsidiary, Eveready Battery Company, Inc. On Monday, April 21, the U.S. Court of Federal Appeals for the Federal Circuit affirmed a U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) ruling that the patent asserted by Energizer Holdings was invalid.
