Investment Meeting of Economy and Trade between Chongqing and United States Enterprises(11/18/2016)
Dear President Ms.Zhou and Secretary general Ms.Qian and ladies and gentlemen,
This is Chongqing Commerce Commercial, as a government sector which is in charge of foreign economic development.
Chongqing, as one of the municipalities, is the biggest city in western China, with complete business categories, and the rate of growth has been the first from 2013. Chongqing manufacture has moved to "high-end oriented, facilities, centralization" from "small, feeble, sporadic", formed "6+1" pillar industry cluster including electronic informations, automobiles, equipments, chemical, materials, energy, consumer goods, and so on; rapidly risen emerging strategic industry, with continuous power; boomed modern-service industry, sprung up new growth points.
Our commission is invited by Sacramento government, 11 economic and trade delegates are organized to visit to San Francisco on November 17, 2016. The delegation is led by Xiong Lin vice Director, and the delegates are come from economic and trade departments, and some enterprises in Chongqing.
To accelerate economic and trade cooperations between Chongqing and United States, especially to promote further development between Chongqing and California under"Economy and Trade Cooperation Regimes of Province/State of China and the United States". We are planing to hold "Investment Meeting of Economy and Trade between Chongqing and United States Enterprises". It is very appreciate that if you can attend the meeting, and if it is possible, we hope you can invite some local companies in California to attend the meeting.

BYD's Stella Ke Li Wins 2016 Chinese CEO of the Year

Chinese CEO Organization¡¦s (CEO) 15th Board Inauguration Ceremony and 2016 Gala Dinner will be held at The LA Hotel Downtown on March 19th, 2016 (Saturday). About 400 members and VIP guests of the Chinese CEO Organization will attend the event. Distinguished guests including the honorable Congressman Ed Royce, Congresswoman Judy Chu, Congressman Ted Lieu, Commercial Counselor of the Chinese Consulate in Los Angeles Haiyan Liu, California State Treasurer John Chiang, former Congressman David Dreier and famous documentary movie producer William Mundell, etc. Ed Royce, a member of the United States House of Representatives for California's 39th congressional district and current Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the House, will deliver a keynote speech regards US-China relations as well as the trade relations between US and China.

The 15th Board of Chinese CEO Organization nominated Stella Li, President of BYD Motor Inc. and Senior Vice President of BYD Company Ltd, to be the 2016 Chinese CEO of the Year. The award will be presented to Stella Li during the March 19th gala dinner.
Stella Li (Ke Li) received her Bachelor's Degree in Statistics from Fudan University in 1992. Prior to joining BYD, Ms. Li worked at Global Resources, a B2B media company which facilitates two-way trade between the PRC and World companies. Ms. Li joined BYD in 1996 as a manager in Marketing Division. Her responsibility was to train sales team, create marketing strategy for BYD products. In 1997, Ms. Li opened BYD¡¦s first overseas office in Hong Kong, and then found the first European office in Rotterdam in 1999. In 2000, Ms. Li set up BYD North America Sales Headquarter in Chicago. She became a Senior VP of BYD Company Ltd in 2006 and was responsible for the overall BYD overseas business. Ms. Li has contributed greatly to BYD¡¦s business globalization. She currently leads BYD¡¦s electric auto sales effort and new energy business in America and other international markets.
The Board of Chinese CEO Organization also nominated Richard Lee (Chairman of Amsino Medical Group) for the 2016 CEO Outstanding Achievement Award, Mariah Qian (CEO of Seba International Corp.) for the 2016 Chinese Woman CEO of the Year Award, Kenny Chang (President of Kcal Insurance Agency) for the 2016 Community Leadership of the Year, Alan Yu (President and CEO of Lollicup USA, Inc.) for the 2016 CEO Member of the Year Award and Jay Liang (President of ETECH Securities, Inc.) for the 2016 CEO Special Recognition Award. The awards will also be presented to the nominees during the gala dinner.
The highlight of the gala dinner will be honorable Congressman Ed Royce¡¦s keynote speech on the US-China trade relations. The event will also feature a documentary movie on U.S.-China relations, “Better Angels? David Dreier, Former U.S. Congressman and Chairman of the Annenberg-Dreier will conduct an interview with William Mundell, producer of “Better Angels?
William Mundell is an entrepreneur, film producer and a political activist. He received his undergraduate degree in Economics and Political Science at Carlton University in Canada where he was the recipient of the U.S. Ambassadors Award. He completed his graduate studies at Columbia University, earning an MBA in Finance and a Masters in International Economics and Public Finance. Mr. Mundell has been Chairman of IKM, which provides web based knowledge assessment, since 2004. Previously he served as Chairman of ZBB Energy Corporation, a New York Stock Exchange alternative energy company focused on the development of battery technology. He is the former Chairman and CEO of Vidyah Inc. From 1989 through 1998, Mr. Mundell was with WEFA (now part of Global Insight), serving first as President and later as President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Mundell was an adjunct professor at UCLA¡¦s Anderson Graduate School of Management, and is an honorary professor at Tsinghua University in China.
In 2011, Mr. Mundell made a documentary movie, Gerrymandering, which was credited with creating sweeping political reform in his home state of California. In 2012, he embarked on a feature documentary movie “Better Angels? about the U.S.-China relationship. The movie is intended to shatter the myths Chinese have about America and Americans have about China by looking through the lenses of ordinary citizens, who, in the course of their daily lives, are seeking to bridge the physical and metaphysical distance between the two countries.

Huge success of 2014 ChineseCEO Annual Gala(Fed. 19, 2014)
Dear All:
Our Annual Gala just ended in cheers and bravos with huge success! In the past 2 months, we devoted into the gala preparation with great passion and enthusiasm, and worked closely as a team facing the challenges, sharing the happiness and woe. All of our Board Members are fully engaged in the event planning without compromise to ensure the perfection of our meeting, Lisa and Mariah guaranteed the reception and the venue layout in perfect order; Andrew made the gala program running smooth and steady; Gene kept in working on the program book even in spite of illness; Sophia conducted the choir to be one of the biggest highlights in the event. We are encouraged by Honorary Chairpersons¡¦ care and support during the event preparation as well, Honorary Chairman Dong Li, and Honorary Chairman Jay Liang made their special trips back to U.S. to join our event which is really touching to all of us. We are also very proud to have so many dedicated members, including Claudia and Maggie, in our team in organizing this event, their effort made the success of our Annual Gala even more colorful and meaningful. Last but not least, we are pleased to see volunteers, a group of young entrepreneurs and professionals, joined our team and played important roles in preparation.

The big success of our Annual Gala reflects the Chinese CEO Organization stepped into a new level and stood at a new height. Our Annual Gala has attracted broad attention and was widely recognized in Chinese community, and garnered much favorable press as well.

The image of Chinese CEO Organization has been promoted as expected through the Annual Gala this time. I would like to express my deep appreciation to all of you, thank you!
